Presidency acts to sale of petrol above N145 per litre
Administration has advised Nigerians to report filling stations selling above N145 per liter to Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR.
The administration on Sunday gave assistance line on which Nigerians can share their grumblings.
This is contained in a brief articulation by President’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad
It read: “On #FuelCrisis: You can report any fuel station accumulating or offering fuel above N145 per liter (official cost) by calling Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) on 08058298820. Compassionate RT.”
In the mean time, Nigerian government has recognized those behind the present fuel scarcity.
Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Dr Garba Abari, said the situation was caused by oil marketers.
In an announcement on Saturday, Abari said the storing is a deliberate ploy to compel government to expand the draw cost of the item.
